She can eliminate the fears and sufferings of all beings. For instance, offering sacrifices to the Green Tara can help people get rid of eight kinds of fears and be liberated from eight kinds of hardships, namely the lion's hardship, the elephant's hardship, the water's hardship, the snake's hardship, the prison's hardship, the thief's hardship, the fire's hardship, and the non-human hardship. She can transform the "doubt" in human behavior into ultimate and perfect intelligence, illuminating all beings with cool and compassionate light and helping sentient beings escape the sea of birth and death.
