The eight Bodhisattvas are: Manjusri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Void Storehouse Bodhisattva, Earth Storehouse Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, and Bodhisattva of Removing Obstacles. The main deity is the Four-Armed Bodhisattva Guanyin, with the White Tara and the Green Tara on her left and right respectively.
Manjusri Bodhisattva is in charge of wisdom. He has five buns on his head, symbolizing the five wisdoms of the Great Sun. He holds a blue lotus in his left hand and a vajra sword in his right.
2. Bodhisattva Samantabhadra is renowned for his ";great conduct". His ten great vows - paying homage to all Buddhas, praising the Tathagata, making extensive offerings, repenting of karmic obstacles, rejoicing in merits, inviting the Dharma wheel to be turned, inviting the Buddha to remain in the world, always following the Buddha's teachings, constantly obeying sentient beings, and dedicating merits to all - point out the complete path from the initial aspiration to the attainment of enlightenment for practitioners. He holds a ruyi in his hand, symbolizing the good wishes of all beings. Riding a white elephant, one's resolve and determination are evident. Bodhisattva Samantabhadra taught the world: Having ideals but not taking action is ultimately like a mirage. Great undertakings begin with every solid step taken underfoot. Only by implementing compassion and wisdom in daily practice can one achieve perfect enlightenment.
3. Guanyin, meaning "observing the sounds of the world and rescuing the suffering." Its compassion is like sweet dew, spreading everywhere, regardless of noble or humble, wise or foolish, protecting all living beings equally. Or hold a pure bottle of willow and water, scattering the nectar of great compassion all over; Or there may be a thousand hands and a thousand eyes, observing the sufferings in all directions. Compassion is the highest radiance of human nature. Bodhisattva Guanyin teaches us: To have compassion in our hearts, to regard all sentient beings as ourselves, not to abandon anyone, and to warm the world in every little thing.
4. Vajra Hand Bodhisattva: Vajra Hand Bodhisattva is called Vajra Hand Bodhisattva because he holds a vajra and always guards the Buddha. He possesses the immense divine power to eliminate evil and subdue demons. The Vajra Hand Bodhisattva symbolizes the "unbreakable Bodhi mind" and the profound truth that "afflictions are Bodhi". It is characterized by great courage and power, and possesses the supernatural ability to save sentient beings. It is the collection of the strength of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The Bodhisattva with the Golden Hand can command the celestial generals and night demons to subdue demons and monsters, eliminate all disasters caused by the sun, moon, stars, evil spirits, earth, water, fire, wind and space, and protect the true Dharma and all practitioners with treasures.
